The present invention relates to a pH-sensitive anticancer prodrug obtained by encapsulating zinc protoporphyrin in benzoyloxycinnamaldehyde-polyethylene glycol micelle. The pH-sensitive anticancer prodrug obtained by encapsulating zinc protoporphyrin in benzoyloxycinnamaldehyde-polyethylene glycol micelle of the present invention: deteriorates an antioxidant level in cancer cells by the release of ZnPP while being decomposed by acidic pH; and increases sensitivity to various types of reactive oxygen species (ROS). In addition, the ROS are generated and accumulated by release of benzoyloxycinnamaldehyde so as to promote apoptosis, thereby having an excellent synergy anticancer effect through a double stimulation reaction and a sequential treatment reaction in a cancer cell-specific manner. Therefore, the present invention can be usefully used as an anticancer prodrug and an anticancer drug. Moreover, as cancer can be effectively targeted by using the ZnPP encapsulated in the micelle, the pH-sensitive anticancer prodrug of the present invention can be used for treating and diagnosing cancer.
