The present invention relates to a method for detecting porphyrin by pretreating biological samples using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry / mass spectrometry (LC-MS / Ms). The present invention can effectively detect a small amount of porphyrin. Therefore, the method can detect porphyrin using biological samples containing a small amount of porphyrin such as blood, can precisely detect porphyrin in the case of restricting the number of collection of biological samples and an amount of biological samples which can be collected like newborn infants and thus can be useful in diagnosing porphyrin-related diseases in early stages.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
