A method for determining a blood alcohol level comprises the following steps: detecting a valid frame of an inputted sound signal; detecting a differential signal of an original signal of the valid frame; performing high speed Fourier transformation on the differential signal to be converted into a frequency region; detecting high frequency components of a differential signal transformed by high speed Fourier transformation; and determining a blood alcohol level based on a difference in a slope between high frequency components. Accordingly, drinking and a blood alcohol level of a driver or an operator in a remote place can be grasped, so an accident caused by drunk driving or operation can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
