The present invention relates to a method for proliferating neural progenitor cells and a composition for treating neurological diseases comprising proliferated neural progenitor cells. It is confirmed that cell reproduction rate is improved in the case of culturing fetal neural progenitor cells under hypoxic condition and/or a culturing medium comprising tocopherol, tocopherol acetate or a mixture thereof. In addition, the composition can contribute to produce neural stem cells in large quantity due to having an effect on preventing differentiation to neural cells when proliferating the neural progenitor cells and is expected to be useful in treating neurological diseases using proliferated cells.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
