The present invention relates to a composition comprising leelamine as an active ingredient for inducing CYP 2B enzyme. The leelamine of the present invention can be usefully used in drug metabolism studies for predicting drug interaction and co-administration as a novel and specific composition for inducing drug metabolizing enzyme, by strongly inducing activation of CYP 2B enzyme and representing selective induction capacity with respect to CYP 2B which is not engaged in the other CYP activation at the same time.
