The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for providing a transfer service for giving praise. The method for providing a transfer service according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: displaying a praise list interface for selecting a reason for praise on a first terminal; receiving praise reason selection information selected from the praise list displayed via the praise list interface from the first terminal; providing a second terminal with a response interface to the praise reason selection information when receiving the praise reason selection information; and transmitting the approval information to a financial server when receiving the approval information via the response interface from the second terminal to request performance of an account transfer from a user account of the second terminal to a user account of the first terminal.
