The present invention relates to a method for producing trimethylol propane ester. In particular, the method comprises: a first step of producing a KF/HAP catalyst having KF dipped in hydroxyapatite (HAP) as a catalyst support; and a second step of producing trimethylol propane ester (TMP-ester) by performing esterification on trimethylol propane (TMP) with oleic acid under the presence of the KF/HAP catalyst. The method uses a KF/HAP catalyst to perform trimethylol propane ester synthesis compared to another catalyst, so a byproduct such as oleate is not formed and reaction stability is high. An irregular catalyst is used, so catalyst collection can be easily performed. A process is simple, so mass production can be easily performed. Moreover, the produced trimethylol propane ester has vegetable components so as to be easily decomposed by microorganisms existing in the natural world. Accordingly, decomposition by microorganisms can be easily performed during leakage or wasting, and flashing point and flow point properties exhibit relatively high functions with respectively 268C and -37.5C so as to be usefully used as a vegetable electrical insulation oil in a transformer or the like.
