The present invention relates to a method for producing an oxidation catalyst of an odor compound, carbon monoxide, and a volatile organic compound. The present invention relates to a method for producing a catalyst which dips a precious metal in a carrier which is heat-treated by adding phosphorous at 1 to 10 mol% with respect to boehmite and heat-treats the same, and a method for using the same. The catalyst manufactured by the method has durability for halogen and sulfur compound, thereby effectively removing an odor compound, carbon monoxide, and a hydrocarbon material even in the presence of the compound thereof. Moreover, the catalyst has an excellent thermal stability at a high temperature of 800 degrees, thereby effectively removing an odor compound, carbon monoxide, and a volatile organic compound at a low temperature even though the temperature reaches 800 degrees.
