The present invention provides a metallic oxide hydrogen reduction device that maximizes hydrogen utility by adjusting the degree of opening of a supply valve which supplies hydrogen gas by measuring pressure change with an appropriate control equation after a hydrogen reduction reaction, and a method for controlling hydrogen gas concentration in a metallic oxide hydrogen reduction process. According to the present invention, the use of the hydrogen gas is decreased so that facility operation costs can be saved. Also, the internal pressure of a reduction furnace is maintained, thereby ensuring the stability of facility.
