The present invention relates to a tool mounted on a tool rest for a CNC lathe and, more specifically, to a tool mounted on a tool rest for a CNC lathe, which is mounted on the tool rest for a CNC lathe to be used to machine a groove in the cross section of a shaft. The tool (100) mounted on a tool rest for a CNC lathe includes: a body (110); a rotating body (130) having a cylindrical shape, rotatably mounted on the front of the body (110), having a machining tool (131) mounted on the front of the rotating body, and having an inclined surface (132) and a planar surface (133) formed on the edge of the rear of the rotating body, wherein the inclined surface and the planar surface are repeatedly formed in the circumferential direction; a hammer protrusion (140) having the front coming into contact with the rear of the rotating body (130), and the rear of the hammer protrusion supported by a spring (141), in the body (110); a fixed unit (120) fastened to the rear of the body (110) to be fixed to the tool rest for a CNC lathe. Therefore, the tool mounted on a tool rest for a CNC lathe may be mounted to the tool rest to forge a groove in the cross section of a shaft or the like to simplify the manufacturing process, thereby improving process efficiency and production efficiency and reducing a failure rate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
