Apparatus for removing natural organic matters for water treatment using coagulant and cabon nano tube

PURPOSE: A natural organic matter (NOM) removing device for purifying water is provided to absorb low and high molecular NOMs to be removed based on an effective absorbing mechanism using a coagulant and carbon nanotubes (CNT). CONSTITUTION: An NOM removing device for purifying water comprises a reaction bath (10), a precipitating bath (20), a centrifugal separator (40), and a disinfecting unit (30). Proper amounts of a coagulant and CNT (12) are simultaneously injected into inflow water, and the inflow water is supplied into the reaction bath. In the reaction bath, NOMs and microorganisms are simultaneously removed by the coagulation-precipitation of the coagulant and the absorption of the CNT. The precipitating bath separates treated water from the reaction bath into overlaying water and underlaying solid materials. The centrifugal separator is installed on the bottom of the precipitation bath and separates the solid materials into upper floc and lower CNT. The disinfecting unit disinfects the treated water to be drained.
