The present invention relates to a method for sensing a deviation from the driving route of a vehicle in order to prevent the driving vehicle from deviating from the driving route regardless of intention of a driver by using an electric steering system and vehicle condition information. The vehicle driving route deviation sensing method is able to accurately detect and prevent situations including no-steering capable of being generated when the electric steering system has a malfunction. The vehicle driving route deviation sensing method provided by the present invention includes: a first step of determining whether the driver steering torque of an electric steering system and the motor torque of the electric steering system have different directions from each other or not; a second step of determining whether a vehicle drives at a speed which is equal to or more than a predetermined vehicle speed or not; a third step of determining whether the motor torque is generated in a size which is equal to or more than a predetermined size or not; and a fourth step of determining whether the change rate of a yaw rate is equal to or less than a predetermined value or not.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
