The present invention relates to a device for preventing a water pipe from freezing and bursting in winter time which comprises: a cylindrical housing (100) having a valve body (200) arranged therein by making a second screw coupling unit (201) coupled to a first screw coupling unit (101), wherein the second screw coupling unit is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the valve body while the first screw coupling unit is formed on the lower end of the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical housing (100); a cylinder unit (210) formed in the center of the upper surface of the valve body (200); a first hollow unit (212) for discharging water formed on the cylinder unit (210); a space unit (250) formed between the valve body (200) and a drive head (300) which is mounted on the cylinder unit (210) of the valve body (200); water supply holes (314, 324, 334) which are formed on the drive head (300) and through which water passes to fill the space unit (250); an opening and closing unit (400) which is mounted on the drive head and which has an opening and closing projection (430) closing the upper end of the first hollow unit (212) formed on the cylindrical unit (210); a third screw coupling unit (102) formed on the upper end of the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical housing (100); a stopper (500) having a second hollow (510) therein; a fourth screw coupling unit (512) which is formed on the stopper (500) and coupled to the third screw coupling unit (102); a spring (600) arranged between the stopper (500) and the opening and closing unit (400); and a faucet (700) having a bypass hole (710) coupled to an upper coupling unit (514) formed on the stopper (500).
