Disclosed are a heat sink for a light emitting diode (LED) lamp to radiate heat of the LED lamp and an LED lamp including the same. The LED lamp comprises a housing, a heat sink, an LED module, a cover, a lamp base, and an LED driver. The heat sink is mounted in the housing. The heat sink comprises: a heat radiating pipe unit which is made in a metal pipe type and has a first end, a second end, and a wall of a hollow cylinder shape; and a heat absorbing unit which is extended to a radius direction from the first end by pipe expansion and planarization and has a smooth heat absorbing surface formed to allow the LED module to be in surface contact with the extended upper surface thereof. The heat radiating pipe unit includes a wrinkle unit in which wrinkles are formed by bending the wall in zigzag in a circumferential direction at the second end and which is extended toward the first end in a longitudinal direction. The cover having penetrability is mounted at a first end of the housing to cover the LED module. The lamp base is mounted at a second end of the housing. The LED driver is mounted in the lamp base to control an operation of the LED module. According to the present invention, the heat sink can be easily manufactured by expansion of the metal pipe and the press process while improving heat radiation efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.
