The present invention relates to an apparatus for welding a lateral surface of a junction type buoy for aquaculture and a method for the same, and more specifically, to an apparatus for welding a lateral surface of a junction type buoy for aquaculture and a method for the same, wherein lateral surfaces of both round portions of a buoy made of styrofoam or synthetic resin is wrapped by and welded to lateral caps bonded to a synthetic film and a woven yarn, as one body, by heating. The present invention is characterized in that, in an apparatus for fusing a buoy (30) having lateral surfaces (33, 33a), which protrude roundly from both ends of a body (31) having bent grooves (32) at both sides, and the lateral surfaces (33, 33a) of the buoy (30), a corner support (40) is installed on a support plate (12) protruding from a lower side of a post (11) and wraps and supports the lateral surface (33, 33a), and a lateral fusion device (20) is installed at the end of a cylinder shaft (16) of a hydraulic cylinder (15) erectly installed on a cylinder installation stand (13) protruding from an upper side of the post (11). Here, the lateral fusion device (20) has a lateral molded groove (21) for wrapping the lateral cap (50) covering the lateral surface (33, 33a), and a heat line (22) is formed outside the lateral molded groove (21), and thus an adhesive (53) of the lateral cap (50) is melted to fix the lateral cap (50) to the lateral surface (33, 33a) as one body.
