The present invention relates to a method for extracting biodiesel convertible lipid from microalgae using supercritical carbon dioxide and to a lipid for biodiesel extracted by the method. The lipid extraction method of the present invention can significantly reduce the extraction time compared with an existing supercritical carbon dioxide extraction method, and exhibit excellent lipid yield and fatty acid methyl ester yield even without using harmful organic solvents like in existing Bligh-Dyer extraction method and Soxhlets extraction method, and thus the present invention is economical and environmentally friendly.
