A biomarker diagnoses the exposure of volatile organic compounds. The biomarker of the present invention diagnoses the exposure of particular volatile organic compounds such as ethyl benzene, toluene and xylene. The biomarker directly confirms whether the particular volatile organic compounds are exposed or not after the particular volatile organic compounds of low concentration are exposed.
