The present invention relates to a composition containing a mixed extract of Rehmannia glutinosa, Pinellia ternate, and Schizandra chinensis as an active ingredient for preventing and treating bronichial asthma. The composition according to the present invention has no cytotoxicity, controls expression of TNF- and IL-5 of spleen cells, controls hypersensitivity of airway in a mouse model with bronichial asthma, reduces damages on lung tissues, and has an effect of controlling expression of TNF- and IL-5 in lung tissues of a mouse model with bronichial asthma.
