The present invention relates to a position information-based client-customized taxi advertisement system and a position information-based client-customized taxi advertisement method. More specifically, the present invention relates to the position information-based client-customized taxi advertisement system comprising: an advertisement managing server (100) including an advertisement database unit (110) that stores and manages position information on a product or a shop of a company and advertisement information and a controller (120) that selects and transfers the advertisement information based on the position information according to an outer request; a taxi terminal (200) including a communication unit (210) connected to a portable terminal (300) possessed by a taxi driver through a wired or wireless network to transmit and receive data, and a display unit (220) formed on a rear side of any one headrest of a driver seat or a passenger seat of a taxi to receive the advertisement information based on the position information according to the present position location of the taxi terminal (200) from the advertisement managing server (100) and to display the advertisement information based on the position information; and a portable terminal (300) including a global positioning system (GPS), transmitting and receiving data to and from the advertisement managing server (100), connected to the communication unit (210) of the taxi terminal (200) through the wired or wireless network to perform a tethering function such that data is transmitted or received between the advertisement managing server (100) and the taxi terminal (200), and transmitting the present position information of the taxi terminal (200) obtained through the GPS to the taxi terminal (200).
