METHOD OF PREPARING ALOE VERA EXTRACT HAVING ENHANCED ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY

The present invention relates to a method for producing an aloe vera extract having enhanced antioxidant activity. The method includes the steps of: putting aloe vera at a predetermined ratio of solid to liquid in an extraction solvent; and shaking and extracting the aloe vera at a predetermined temperature for predetermined time. According to the method, extraction time, density of the extraction solvent, extraction temperature, and the ratio of solid to liquid are set to make a value of a FRAP analysis calculated by Mathematical equation 2 and/or a value of a CUPRAC analysis calculated by Mathematical equation 3 be a predetermined value or greater. According to the method of the present invention, the extraction solvent, the extraction density, the extraction temperature, and the ratio of solid to liquid can be determined in an easy manner. Therefore, the method can be advantageously used for producing the aloe vera extract having enhanced antioxidant activity.
