The present invention relates to a method for switching a dynamic base station (BS) to reduce energy consumption in a wireless cellular network. More specifically, to solve a problem of minimizing general energy related to a BS switching which is known to require a high computational complexity and a big signaling overhead, provided is the method for switching the dynamic base station for the green cellular network to reduce the energy consumption in the wireless cellular network, by using a switching-on/off based energy save (SWES) algorithm which is introduced with a new concept of a network-impact and is operated with a low computational complexity in a dispersive method, and turning off the BS which has a minimum impact on the network, one by one, considering an additional load increase of adjacent BSs.
