The present invention relates to a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) pipe object reverse engineering method, and more specifically, to an MEP pipe object reverse engineering method which calculates a feature of points close to a selected point in order to effectively extract the MEP pipe object by a semiautomatic method, expands a segmentation range in accordance with similarity, and extracts points corresponding to the pipe up to a part where a user wants. Therefore, a reverse engineering process is able to be managed in order to recognize the pipe object up to the part where the user wants. In addition, the present invention enables to be used in an architecture MEP pipe object reverse engineering to be developed in the future.
