The present invention relates to a natural ventilation apparatus for windows to improve the thermal performance using an air layer, comprising: an outer frame placed on the outdoor side of a window frame to form an air passage; an inner frame separately joined to the top and the bottom of the outer frame by a joint member; an opening and closing flap of which the overall outer shape is angular into a mark to be rotated by an end in order to selectively open and close an air passage between the inner and outer frames, wherein a permanent magnet is formed in one inner side of the angular shape and a magnetic substance is formed on the other inner side; a side frame separately joined to the side of both ends of the inner and outer frames; an opening and closing switch to open the opening and closing flap with the repulsion between the switch opening and closing permanent magnet and the permanent magnet of the opening and closing flap and to close the opening and closing flap with the attraction between the switch opening and closing permanent magnet and the magnetic substance of the opening and closing flap; an inner air vent installed on both sides of the inner frame installed with the opening and closing switch; and a finishing plate fastened to a space between the opening and closing switch and the inner air vent. The inner frame, the opening and closing flap, and the side frame partially or independently have one or more hollow air layers inside in a longitudinal direction. According to the present invention, the natural ventilation apparatus for windows to improve the thermal performance using an air layer improves the thermal performance, airtightness, air filtration, and user convenience.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
