Manageability engine on a computer platform, an adjunct processor or from a service provider authorized by the manufacturer of the manageability engine may receive a request for the activation and use of the built-in feature in the platform. Manageability engine can be started for a request for control over the service provider to the license server. Authorization server through the service provider, the proof of the authorization of the service provider can be provided with a certificate that identifies the service provider. Then, only by a particular service provider is authorized by manageability engine it may allow the activation of the feature on a platform connected to the manageability engine. ;
