The present invention relates to a differential patch antenna and a terahertz detecting apparatus using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the differential patch antenna comprises: a first dielectric substrate in which a radiation patch of a microstrip type; at least one ground plate in which a plurality of opening slots separated from the radiation patch with a predetermined distance and located at a lower part of the first dielectric substrate is formed; and a second dielectric substrate located at a lower part of the ground board and in which a plurality of feeding lines to generate a differential signal by combining with the radiation patch through the opening slots is formed. Therefore, the differential patch antenna can reduce mismatching by generating a differential input using a differential opening combination method and connecting to the feeding line without using a via.
