The present invention relates to an artificial marble using a colored non-metallic mineral and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the artificial marble using a colored non-metallic mineral includes a colored non-metallic mineral whose surface average diameter is between 0.3 and 200 mm with a first colored layer coated with a first colored paint having an inorganic pigment selected from a group consisting of lithium silicate, sodium silicate, potassium silicate, calcium silicate, magnesium silicate, colloidal silica and mixtures thereof.
