The present invention relates to an artificial stone using a colored non-metallic mineral, which includes a colored non-metallic stone whose surface average diameter is between 1 and 200 mm with a first colored layer coated with a first colored paint having at least one selected from a group consisting of lithium silicate, sodium silicate, potassium silicate, calcium silicate, magnesium silicate, colloidal silica and mixtures thereof wherein the colored non-metallic mineral used for the artificial stone has improved durability of non-metallic mineral particles in a certain size and good vivid colors in the colored layer while having good the durability and stability of the colored layer, thereby being used for manufacturing a high quality of artificial stones.
