The present invention relates to a nucleic acid aptamer which specifically binds to malachite green. The present invention also relates to a method for detecting malachite green using the nucleic acid aptamer, a composition for detecting malachite green containing the nucleic acid aptamer, and a detection kit. The aptamer according to the present invention exhibits a high affinity to malachite green by specifically binding to malachite green, so that it is possible to effectively detect residual antibiotic substances from foods, up and down water sources, human bodies and the like.
