The present invention relates to a touch panel which has a driving electrode including multiple driving electrode cells and a sensing electrode including multiple sensing electrode cells formed on the same layer. Each of the sensing electrode cells surrounds each driving electrode cell forming an electrostatic coupling therewith in all four directions. Each of the sensing electrode cells also includes a vertical segment extended in a vertical direction and a horizontal segment extended in a horizontal direction. The width of the horizontal segment gradually thickens and then narrows again from an end of the horizontal segment to the other end of the horizontal segment.
