The present invention relates to a method for preparing mesoporous oxide macroparticles with particles of various shapes, by drying and sintering droplets of a mother liquor containing nanoparticles or an oxide precursor and a pore inducing material on a hydrophobic surface, and to mesoporous oxide macroparticles with various forms prepared by the same method. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an eco-friendly and economical method for preparing mesoporous oxide macroparticles without using a toxic solvent and a surfactant, high temperature and high pressure conditions, and an expensive reactor. In addition, the mesoporous oxide macroparticles prepared thereby have various forms with different shapes and sizes of particles and pore sizes, thereby being applicable to an absorbent, a catalyst, a separation membrane, and the like.
