The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a porous metal, which comprises: manufacturing an alloy of a first metal and a second metal; removing the second metal from the alloy; and obtaining the porous first metal by removing the second metal from the alloy. The second metal is removed through a dealloying process by an electrochemical or a chemical method. The porous metal is obtained through the dealloying process, thereby being able to manufacture a metal with enhanced activation properties such as an oxygen evolution reaction or the like.
