The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, ameliorating, and treating liver damage caused by a liver toxic substance containing a fermented product of a crude enzyme decomposition liquid as an active ingredient. The fermented product of the crude enzyme according to the present invention exhibits excellent hepatocyte protective effect against the toxic substance, and thus can be usefully used for prevention, improvement and treatment of liver damage by toxic substances.
