FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: 1-second forced expiratory volume is determined by spirography for the purpose of a surgical intervention in the patients suffering from pancreatic diseases complicated with tracheal compression. If the measured volume is from 35% to 54%, an urgent surgery is performed. If the 1-second forced expiratory volume is less than 35%, an emergent surgery is performed.;EFFECT: method enables determining the surgery date with the greatest accuracy in the patients requiring the emergent surgery that in its turn provides the more adequate pre-operative preparation and the improved outcome of surgical management.;1 tbl, 2 ex
