The method contains the following steps: a base station sends a non-periodic initiating signal to a separate piece of the user equipment (UE). The latter receives that signal and determines the component carrier of a downlink (DL CC) that requires feedback, according to the non-periodic initiating signal. Then the UE initiates a non-periodic feedback for the selected DL CC, maintaining the correspondence between DL CC and a component carrier of the upperlink (UL CC). The stage of determining the DL CC requiring feedback contains the following steps: UE defines the first UL CC in accordance with the scheduling information, containing the non-periodic initiating signal, searches for DL CC, to which the first UL CC corresponds, as per the saved correspondence between DL CC and UL CC. Then it defines the found DL CC as the one requiring feedback.;EFFECT: effective decrease of the feedback traffic along the upperlink.;15 cl, 12 dwg
