FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural engineering. The roller (10) comprises a tubular base (12) made with the ability to rotate about an axis (X-X), and a plurality of tires (14) of half-empty type. The tires (14) are mounted on the tubular base. The roller also has a pair of spacers (16) for fixing the tire (14) at a distance from the tubular base (12). Each spacer (16) has a hub (18) which is able to put on the tubular base (12), an outer skirting board (20). The outer skirting boards (20) of the spacers (16) of one pair are made with the ability to fix the annular retaining part (22) of the tire. The elastic ring (24) is located on the tubular base (12) between the hubs (18) of two spacers (16) which belong to two adjacent pairs.;EFFECT: constructive implementation enables to reduce the weight of the roller at the simultaneous maintaining the quality of soil compaction.;15 cl, 12 dwg
