FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: method of felling and skidding trees by the feller-skidder, comprising a self-propelled chassis on which a manipulator with a claw-like felling unit and a clam bunk are mounted, in the cutting area with skid roads and a loading platform located in it, comprises moving the feller-skidder on the skid roads to the side opposite the loading platform, tree felling, laying the felled trees in the clam bunk of the vehicle, their skidding toward the loading platform and unloading on the platform. When moving on the skid road away from the loading platform the feller-skidder carries out felling trees with vertices towards the loading platform, opposite to the direction of its movement. After accumulating in the cutting area along the skid road of fallen trees the feller-skidder starts to move in the direction of the loading platform. At stops, the fallen trees are gripped by the vertices using the claw-like felling unit of the feller-skidder, loaded into the clam bunk and then the trees are skidded with their vertices frontwards in a semi-loaded condition and unloaded on the platform.;EFFECT: method provides an improvement of performance of works.;1 dwg
