METHOD OF RECOVERING MOBILITY OF EXTREMITY JOINTS AFTER TRAUMAS AND OPERATIONS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: after traumas and operations the mobility of extremity joints is recovered by performing manual medicinal massage, passive movements in the joint, represented by passive bending or unbending of the distal segment of the extremity in the direction, coinciding with the location of muscular fibres, from the distal part of the muscle towards its proximal end until pain, exceeding the threshold of pain sensitivity, appears. It is held in such position for 5 minutes. After arresting pain syndrome, passive bending or unbending is continued without relaxing the distal segment of the extremity, with increasing the amplitude of bending or unbending until pain, exceeding the threshold of pain sensitivity appears again. The time of gradual tense passive bending or unbending constitutes 15 minutes, the time of holding the distant segment of the joint in such position is 5 min, after which the distal segment of the joint is slowly relaxed for 5-10 min.
