FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: in the method for determining electric parameter characterising state of the space under electrodes of three-phase ore thermal furnace the electric parameter is defined as own difference-potential coefficient of the bath at electrode-hearth areas for each electrode; for this purpose a controlled power supply source is connected in series to each electrode and it measuring frequency differs from working frequency of the source supplying the furnace; to the furnace hearth lead and zero lead of secondary windings of the furnace transformer a filter is connected, and the latter is transparent for current with measuring frequency and non-transparent for current with working frequency while EMF amplitude and phase of the power supply source with measuring frequency of electrode for which own difference-potential coefficient of the bath is determined; EMF amplitudes and phases of the power supply sources with measuring frequency of two remaining electrodes are measured so that the total value of measuring frequency current is equal to zero, current is measured in this electrode, active power dissipated at electrode-hearth area is measured at measuring frequency and own difference-potential coefficient is calculated at the electrode-hearth area for this electrode according to a special formula.;EFFECT: simplifying process of electric parameters determination.;3 dwg
