METHOD OF TREATING NEURALGIA AND NEURITIS OF TRIGEMINAL NERVE

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: influence with an electric current on areas of the ganglion trigeminale projection, on upper edges of the orbits in the area of the foramen supraorbitale, on the lower edges of the orbits in the area of the foramen infraorbitale, on the lower end of the jaw in the area of the foramen mentale and on areas of the anterior bellies of the digastric muscle and the masseters is realised. Electrostimulation is realised by a trapezoidal bipolar electric current with the frequency of 20-120 Hz, pulse duration is 0.01-0.2 msec, time of sending and pause is 2 sec, with the current power, increasing from 0.1 mA to 20 mA until weak vibration of the tissues appears, the impact time is 10-20 minutes. Then, an influence with a low-intensive pulse magnetic field from the apparatus "Kolibri" in mode I with an additional influence in the areas of the neck and upper third of the chest, with the time of influence being 10-15 min, is realised. After that, the application of the "Tomed" mud of room temperature is applied, with the exposure time 10-20 min. The total course of treatment includes 8-15 procedures.;EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the treatment efficiency, which is achieved due to the complex successive exposure to electric current, magnetic field and mud applications in the said mode of exposure.;2 dwg, 2 ex
