FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: method of modification of surface of products from titanic alloys by nitriding in the glow discharge is performed by nitriding in the vacuum chamber in gas mix 15 wt % of nitrogen and 85 wt % of argon at the temperature 650-700°C by vacuum heating in increased density plasma with the hollow cathode effect within 4 hours. High density plasma is formed between the detail and the screen made with holes and manufactured from titanic alloy. Then the pressure is increased up to 300 Pa and nitriding is performed in the nitrogen medium at the temperature 650-700°C within 4 hours without the hollow cathode effect.;EFFECT: increase of contact durability and wear resistance of the strengthened layer due to the combined processing by nitriding using various methods per one production cycle in the same vacuum volume.;5 dwg, 1 ex
