FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: claimed process comprises equal-channel angular pressing of Al-Mg-Mn system alloy. Note here that, first, cast Al-Mg-Mn alloy is blended at 340-355°C for 7-8 hours and cooled in the furnace to not over 60°C. Then, blank of required sizes is cut and heated in the furnace to 280-295°C. Now, equal-channel angular pressing is effected at 280-295°C at total number of passes corresponding to actual degree of deformation of 8 to 12 and at deformation rte of 5 to 10 mm/s. Finally, cooling is performed in water of room temperature.EFFECT: obtaining blanks of Al-Mg-Mn system alloys with higher mechanical properties owing to formation of AlMn fine particles and homogeneous fine structure.3 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
