Profitable flood protection for urban areas is made possible with a mobile, track-flood protection infrastructure consisting coupled from each other, mounted on carriages, on railway track rolling protection units. These are in groups of trains, called rolling block trains (24), joined together. The track / rail infrastructure adapted in dimension and profiles the existing rail network, whereby the sum earmarked for flood control rolling stock, the Rolling Block Trains (24), even country can be used in other vulnerable places. By renting as well as dual use of the rail and track infrastructure for passenger and freight-transport (25) in non-risk times, veritable sources of funding open up. This potential funding on the otherwise only costly sector of flood protection infrastructure is an incentive to get involved in the field of urban flood protection for investors.
