Currently, an actual recovery of the materials in their original form from waste such as B. waste paper, material mixtures, composite packaging, etc. is only possible to a limited extent or not at all. Today cellulose in particular is hardly recovered from paper waste as a primary substance. The present invention is to describe a uniform method in which all three main components such. B. composite packaging or mixtures of packaging materials, namely cellulose, plastic and metal can be recovered in their primary form and in a quality that largely corresponds to new goods. According to the invention, this takes place in a solvent-based process. A suitable ionic liquid is used to extract the cellulose from the paper portion of the waste, and this step is linked to other solvent-based steps in such a way that it results in a uniform process in which both cellulose, plastic and metal can be recovered. The process also removes the plastic from the waste, but with conventional solvents such as hydrocarbons. The metal is separated off as a solid. Depending on the composition of the raw material, the process can only be one of the above. Deliver materials, two or all three. Such a method can be used for the industrial production of the above.
