Optical sensor system for a driving force to the detection of the road condition, wherein the reflection properties of the road surface are measured and at least four spectral regions of the electromagnetic spectrum between 100 nm wavelength and 2000 nm wavelength can be detected and four measured values in the form of signals or data for the further processing are made available and the sensor system for this purpose by way of at least four measuring channels, the output of which represents in each case one of the said measured values. In this case, by means of at least one measuring channel, at least at times, the spectral intensity of the reflection is in a range from 100 nm to 750 nm, measured.
