A combined heat and power arrangement (100), comprising a gas turbine plant (110) for generating mechanical power, wherein the gas turbine plant (110) an inlet air stream (111) can be supplied and an exhaust air stream (112) can be discharged, a thermal power plant (120) with a Heat exchanger (121) and a turbine (122), wherein the thermal power plant (120) is operable with a working medium (126), wherein the heat exchanger (121) is coupled to the gas turbine plant (110) such that thermal energy from the exhaust air stream (112 ) is transferable to the working fluid (126) such that the turbine (122) is operable by the working fluid, a compressor (130) for compressing an auxiliary air flow, the compressor (130) being drivable by the turbine (122), the compressor (130) is coupled to the gas turbine plant (110) such that the compressed auxiliary air stream (131) can be fed into the gas turbine plant (110), and a further heat exchanger (301), which with the gas turbine plant (110) and the compressor (130) is coupled such that thermal energy from the exhaust air stream (112) of the gas turbine plant (110) to the compressed auxiliary air stream (131) is transferable.
