Biogas power generation is increasingly popular as a means of renewable energy generation. Not only are biogas plants extremely efficient, they meet feed-in-tariff requirements in various European countries, qualifying them for attractive incentives. As a result, current biogas plants are sustainable, renewable power generators that help meet clean energy standards. However, the opportunity to further increase efficiency and qualify for additional incentives is technologically viable and economically sound, and many biogas plants in Europe are jumping on board this next evolutionary step in biogas development.
