A sun tracking arrangement for carrying and controllably rotating a plurality of sun panels is provided. The sun tracking assembly includes a plurality of component groups spaced apart in a first direction operatively connected to a drive shaft movable in the first direction. Each component group includes at least one torsion tube extending in a second direction and a pivot arm operatively connected to the at least one torsion tube. In addition, each component group includes a connector that operatively connects the rotary arm to the drive shaft for rotating the at least one torsion tube in response to movement of the drive shaft in the first direction. The connector is rotatably connected to the rotary arm and non-rotatably connected to the drive shaft and extends in a vertical direction to provide an increased vertical distance between the rotary arm and the drive shaft.
