The invention relates to a tamper-proof fiber, a method for the production thereof and a security paper as well as a security article using the same. A tamper-resistant fiber has a multi-layered structure in the length direction, wherein any two adjacent layers of the multi-layered structure are firmly bonded together, and at least one of these layers has different chemical constituents than an adjacent layer and at least one of these layers contains an additive with anti-counterfeiting information. The process for producing the counterfeit-proof fiber is as follows: a sheet material having a multilayer structure in the thickness direction is first prepared; then the sheet is made into a tamper-proof fiber having the multilayer structure in the length direction by cutting. The anti-counterfeiting property of the forgery-proof fibers of the security paper using the counterfeit-proof fiber and a security article made with the security paper can not be copied by means of printing methods or the like, which enhances the forgery-prevention capability.
