There are various known navigation device for routing.This navigation devices have the disadvantage that they only the length of the path for the selected transport means calculate and no parallel calculation of the route to make it possible for an alternative means of locomotion. As the basis for a comparative route calculation and, in particular, also the possibility of an optimization of the travel time by the combination of the two transport conveyor devices.The aim is to design a navigation device which, in particular for urban space the journey times by the combined use of two transport means is minimized. With the inclusion of the traffic situation it thus acts as an instrument for the determination of the efficient time for a change.The solution of the problem is effected in such a way that the navigation device, in addition to the actual route calculation for the auto a parallel route calculation is carried out for an alternative means of transportation, this second route as a function of the distance already covered updated, according to routes preferences, adjusts in time and visually or acoustically, when with the change of the transport means is a gain in time. With this combined use of two different transport can be provided with the inclusion of the current traffic situation — the target part be achieved much more quickly. This navigation aid is of interest in particular for the motor vehicle in combination with individual means of transport such as bicycle, kick board, segway or skate, public transport vehicles or a continuation by pedes.
