The method involves transmitting an indication relative to a structure of simulation data exchanging messages e.g. control messages, from a computing simulation system e.g. personal computer, of a communication network, to an output/input node that is connected to an electronic component e.g. sensor, of a vehicle i.e. aircraft. The transmission of the indication is performed to configure the output/input node.
